  2. mAnBeArPig417

How do we beat the devils but lose like this to the flyers?? Ugly

  3. Apanic_Attacka

Can’t expect to win the division when you lose to teams like that

  4. BacterialDiscoParty

I think the boys went out drinking last night.

  5. DaRealHankHill

If you didn’t expect the Wild to lay an egg like that against a bottom 5 team in the league with a chance to go up 2 on Dallas you don’t know Wild hockey.

  6. paultheschmoop

Sucks to lose, but the Flyers are legit contenders and we put up one hell of a fight

    Wait a minute

  7. SeanSg1

zuccy needs kaprizov more than kaprizov needs zuccy

  8. Red_0utlaws

Just not a good game from the boys…

  9. fishchanka

This team sucks. Sell the team bring up the ahl boys the season is over /s

  10. londonsillynannies

Freddy had it but just rolled on him, bummer

  11. Substantial_Sea

Pretty ugly game. We need to clean up our power play before the playoffs

  12. RedGenie87

0-3 on the power play against the worst PK in the league.

5 goals given up, 3 from the point, those are on you Fleury. WAKE UP!

Zuc has to get his head out of his ass.

    Glad to have 1 point.

2 weeks till Kap is back?

  13. Seraphax

WHY DO WE ALWAYS MAKE BAD FUCKING TEAMS LOOK GOOD, WHY?!

  14. stumpybubba

    #IT’S FUCKING EMBARRASSING.

I mean, fuck boys. That should have been an easy one. Flower was looking rough, but so was the defense. Way so much more flower though. I guess we should be psyched for top spot though!

  15. thmsolsen

Sucks when the team forgets how to play defense. For now, I guess… go penguins?

  16. Perfect_Echidna_7776

Why do we always lead with Zuccy in the shootout? He shoots into the pads every time and rarely scores!

  17. JuniorParadot

Our power play looked awful today, could hardly tell we were playing with an extra man. Good jump in the second period and in parts of the third, just those crucial moments that killed us – twice we lead and both times conceding within a minute or so after. The Ekker penalty just as we went 3-2 up at the end of the second was a killer imo. HOWEVER, we still take a point away and to do that when you didn’t play particularly well is a good trait. Lets hope Pittsburgh can do us a favour for the second night in a row

  18. TheSkeletones

Leave Merrill at the fucking airport. Dude is a pylon and absolutely detrimental to this team.

  19. C’mon Penguins, little help for the helpless.

  20. SadMathematician7799

    Lost against the flyers

Flower gave up 2 goals right after we scored.

    Terrible Power Plays

  21. Rhysing

The team has no idea what to do in front of Fluery’s spazzy style. Play Gus, have consistency. Go into the playoffs as a division winner against a wildcard.

How are they making it more complicated than that.

  22. seabeast93

That shootout goal was kinda wonky, but whatever. Still doesn’t excuse the rest of the game.

  23. Gleszinski

A game we absolutely needed to win, a game we absolutely deserved to lose. I guess I’ll take the point, it cancels out Dallas’s horseshit point against Seattle.

  24. Well…should’ve never gotten to that point against the Flyers. All things considered boys got a point but holy hell that game was ugly across the board. Flower letting in a couple questionables, d-zone play was terrible, nonexistent forecheck most of the game, horrible special teams, turnovers you name it.

About the only bright spot in that game was the Mojo-Ek-Boldy line. That line continues to produce. Helped that Ek was 70% on the dot tonight. Zucc needs to figure it out, don’t know if he’s hurt or what but he has been a liability most nights. On to Saturday!!

I get it being an embarrassing loss – this isn’t a team you should have to play to a shootout. But just over a month ago, they beat Edmonton in a shootout too. Point being, even good teams get complacent, and even bad teams get hot.

This game didn’t look good, and the guys really need to tighten things up. But it also didn’t look anything like the way the Wild have been playing lately, and I don’t think it’s some symptom of a deep problem. It was just an off game from a good team against an opponent that took advantage of it. They’ll shake it off and we’ll move on. Hope the boys rest up over the weekend and bring their A game against the Blues.

  26. jmaldonado15

Disappointing game. But over the years of following the Wild I have learned to never expect an easy game I guess lol now off to watch the Pens get a W tonight

  27. responsiblefornothin

This would be a lot easier to swallow if we just acknowledged that Philly played some of their best hockey of the season tonight

  28. kpedersonbp

Let not overreact about one OT loss but the wild are probably doomed now and the season is probably over.

  29. Panarin10

Some players step up when the best player on the team is out. Boldy is one of those players.

  30. Foxhockey

Such a disappointing loss. Kind of shocked how they played. And please put in Addison in place of Merrill if we are down a defenseman. Zucc and Foligno a minus 1 along with Merrill. I know Foligno scored but the Hartman, Zucc, Foligno line is really struggling. Zucc has really not been himself the 2nd half of he season.

  31. AioliFantastic4105

If you told me a month ago that Kaprizov goes out for 4 weeks with an injury and meanwhile we will get hot and climb to first place in the central, I’d be so happy. However, no one told me that, I take the hot streak for granted, and I’m bummed we missed the extra point.

  32. KaprizFox

It’s amazing how people are blaming flower for this one. NO ONE showed up tonight, and I guarantee if this were Gus Bus people wouldn’t be giving him nearly as much crap, if any at all. This was just a very sloppy game, and unfortunately these kinds of games happen to good teams sometimes. I’ll take 3/4 points on the road w/o Kaprizov

  33. Eastern_Tangerine_33

Just glad we got a point tbh

  34. blackmankitteh

Matt Boldy plays playoff hockey. He is a beast and I’m glad we got him locked down

  35. in_da_tr33z

Jesus people need to relax. The flyers aren’t a good NHL team, but they’re an NHL team and the Wild are on a road trip. Bad teams still win games. Shit happens. Move on. This doesn’t mean anything.
