Really fun start to the game. So happy for Ed especially in front of his family. Walman blast was awesome. Have no idea what happened in the second. Hellberg won’t be back. Respect the effort at the end of the third. Ed is gonna be soooo good. Tank on.

  2. everyboulevard

Congrats Ed on your first goal!

  3. Bigmayer

Edvinsson looks so good. Gotta clean up the penalties, but I think he’s ready.

  4. duelingdog

Filip Zadina 2 points in 2 games. Book it, the boy is E L I T E. No one’s been wrong about it before 😉

  5. Shotokanguy

I don’t really care about losing at this point, but when you start a game that way and then it turns into…that…what the hell.

  6. HercHuntsdirty

Is Chaisson the greatest NHL player of this generation?

  7. ParksandRec69

Eddy could have had multiple points tonight and was very noticeable. He’s gonna be really good.

  8. BeenRagin

Love it or hate it, a loss does help here. The fact that we had an Ed goal and an exciting final 10 minutes was just about all we can ask for.

  9. xenonwarrior666

Well at least the game was interesting.

Hellberg had a decent game except for that terrible rebound.

I’ll be disappointed when the season is over but I’m ready for it to wrap up and get to free agency/ the draft

Well overall ST Louis gained 1 point on us between the two games. Wish it was 4 but it is what it is. Ed is gonna be awesome.

Larkin carrying the puck into the O zone so well on that 6 on 5, they need to let him do that on powerplays or like, just in general, rather than play dump and chase.

Ed looking more comfortable by the game, made some nearly brilliant passes that were just an inch off or to somebody who couldn’t corral it, he’ll be something great soon.

Perron should not be allowed to occupy and shoot from the Ovi spot. Maybe he used to be good at it, I never paid much attention before he came here, presumably they put him there based on their prior understanding of his capabilities… but he just can’t now.

Huge start, got the momentum knocked out of them with a soft penalty call to Edvinsson and then conceded soft goals.

Always want a win but giving up two points to a team that are neck and neck with us in the tank battle ain’t the worst thing.

Edvinsson showed some great flashes, Walman/Seider again looking every inch a top NHL D pairing, Veleno had a superb game and Zadina combined well with him too.

Ultimately, the players who you want to see perform well did perform well, and in a dead rubber of a game I’ll take that gladly.

Most disappointing thing tonight is Marc Staal’s decision pass it on

  14. Dave_The_Party_Guy

Mick is an absolute treasure ha

  15. BabaganoushTime

Mick Redmond is a legend. I love his flannel and story time after the game

  16. xenonwarrior666

The most important thing is that Vrana never got a goal ( maybe not even a point) against us

  17. TheNation55

I’m not bashing Ned it was just kinda funny the minutes he steps onto our ice again he gets lit up on a breakaway. That dude is just kryptonite to defenseman.

  18. drinkwineandscrew

If Chiasson keeps this up it’s going to be hard to not sign him to a one way contract in the off-season.

  19. drinkwineandscrew

Very mature and competitive response from Edvinsson in the presser. You can tell he’s disappointed that his first NHL Tally is such a scrappy one, but he has that drive that you need to be truly elite. With the right coaching and support, we’ve got a real one.

  20. _brasch

Was really nice to see Simon’s first point, he’s honestly looked incredible for the small sample size and I think he clearly has the trust of the coaching staff. I look forward to him potentially making the team off the bat next year.

Also, just wanted to send out a thanks to everyone I’ve interacted with here over the last year or so. Out of my 3 teams’ fanbases, y’all are definitely the most laidback and easy to approach, which means a lot. Here’s to the rest of the season and the draft lottery later.

  21. Garmand3r

Can we just take a moment and appreciate all Ken and Mickey do? Losing isn’t terrible when listening to them. Well, it is, but less so.

  22. lets_kill_time

We really need to get rid of Chiarot. We have no legit roster spot for him on left side and we need 2 RDs which play defense first. I can see Stevie going after Gudas and or Mayfield.

  23. fontinaliscoaster

Bertuzzi with a goal and an assist tonight. Any chance he signs with the wings this summer?

  24. meatballcake87

We need to get a true 1B goalie this offseason. Hellberg and Ned both aren’t good enough to be reliable backups, and I don’t think Husso is good enough to be an every night starter, but he is a very good 1A type goalie

  25. wellpaidscientist

Was it Perron who yelled, « Good boy, Ned! » After the save early in the 3rd?

  26. MikeLitoris_________

Is it weird if I hate the entire state of Missouri?

  27. DontCare010101

    Maybe I’m drunk, but…

… if Ed and Seider weren’t at the top of the blue bars tonight, I don’t know can’t how to logic thinking…

… fuck sake, I like both Hellberg and Ned, but if GMSFY doesn’t get us another 1B goalie, I’ll eat…

… people think we need a true 1C. « A true 1C drives the play, and makes those around him better… » If that doesn’t describe Dylan Larkin, what does? Larks may not be McDrai or even Little Mac, but with intangibles, he’s got to be in the conversation for Top 20, right?…

… I know some people miss Vrana, and I think that’s a valid feeling. Just know the following:

    Alex Chiasson: 10gp, 5g, 2a (7p) – $750k
    Jakub Vrana (with STL): 9gp, 5g, 1a (6p) – $5.25m

… duck me, that 20 or so seconds when Ed and Seider were on the ice together at the end of the game, man, it was almost erotic…

    I think that’s it. Thanks!
