@Sabres de Buffalo

C’est tout ce que nous devons savoir sur cette équipe, mais l’avenir est prometteur. Gardez la foi Terre des Sabres ; ça a été dur ce mois-ci mais ça ira mieux.

    It *should* get better. We as Buffalo sports fans should remember to not get hopes up too readily

    How about getting us a younger bruiser defenseman or two who can put some more hits on the opposing players (you know a Hanson brothers type). We have so much talent and are on the verge of a franchise run but we need that spark. Everyone I know laughs at me when I say that, but man I see it, I see that potential. Re-sign some of our free agents and bring in that spark. I just wish the players would see it in themselves. 1 spark and raise the banner

    Listen, it’s been over a decade. I’m not going anywhere but at this point I’d rather take up smoking crack than hopium.

    The reality of this team is that it’s been « just another couple years… » since Miller left. You can cherry-pick whatever stats you want but there is no reason to believe that this time it will be different.

    I’ve watched so much garbage-tier hockey at this point that I’m almost blind to it. If they finish ninth in the conference this year that will be the best finish this team has had in the entire time my son has been alive.

    Stop puffing this team up, all it’s doing is twisting the knife.

    Only ANA & SJ have worse records at home. Despite all the things to love about this team, we could just as easily be a bottom 3 team as we could a playoff team.

    Now do GA

    But really, yes it’s an identity to build off of. Now shore up defense and goaltending and we have something real

    As frustrating as this March has been, I think it is easier to fix goaltending & defense than offense. With a couple more forwards probably making the jump and a couple turning over, I think we’re set up front. My hope is that the draft yields a BPA on D and that UPL & Levi make a step forward in development.

    Did anyone mention to the team that they could try winning at home?

    I just wish we knew why they were so bad at home. Are we playing better teams at home so we are more likely to lose? Is being home making them nervous? Are they celebrating too hard when they’re home?

    The disparity is so very strange. And it’s not like we are squeaking out wins on the road and juuuust losing at home. It’s like two entirely different teams. The road Sabres are fun to watch, but the home Sabres make me want to die.

  9. I just can’t figure out why they’re so bad at home. It’s so bizarre.

    So wild, just completely went to shit

    For a while it was nice to see the trend of us being the only non playoff team in the East with a positive goal differential
