Is that a goalie paddle? It looks like a stick, but the signature looks like it might be Hutton’s?
My guess is Maxim Lapierre. Big looping ‘M’ and the style of the ’40’ looks similar based on image searches.
That’s a wooden blade so you’re looking at pre-composite era, unless of course it’s not a game used stick it was just some memorabilia
