No point now. They’re literally all in on making the playoffs next year. Would be very Canucks to be half committed to a plan though.

  2. Jazzlike_Kick_5434

I know he broke all of the Seattle expansion draft picks, but since then Seravalli has had nothing. Why is he still considered an insider?

  3. “I still believe…” Fuck off with your beliefs.

  4. randomj77

The only way they move JT is if they find a younger C that more directly fits the window

  5. Feralwestcoaster

Let’s not be too hasty dismissing the words of an overhyped gasbag who’s constantly reaching desperately to seem relevant. Right?

  6. De_Floppss

Unless we get a younger C who can do a PPG, why? Its ride or die with Miller since we shipped out Bo no?

  7. PaperweightCoaster

We double downed on the retool, moving Miller now is pulling a U turn since Miller will be the best player in the trade.

  8. CamaroGirl96

I personally wouldn’t move him. A PPG player. He’s doing well. He’s been asked to be more of a leader and he’s doing that. I know the length of the contract sucks but if he can continue putting up points it is actually worth it.

  9. slipperysoup

Lmao this sub actually would prefer keeping Miller at 8M until he’s 37

For those who can’t read between the lines… this is what he’s saying:

They signed Miller because Ownership wouldn’t let them trade him for futures (i.e Draft picks etc..)

They lost Bo Horvat in part because they didn’t have the cap space to sign him.

There’s been lots of smoke about internal locker room disputes between certain players….

That player (s) made it clear they’d prefer not to play with JT.

The team then tried really hard to trade him at the deadline but couldn’t make it work in the end.

Though things are seemingly better… Management knows this is a bad contract and one they need to move off of. Ownership/Frankie has agreed to let them trade Miller if certain pieces come back.

Morons sign a guy then try to cap dump him a few months later .

Dump lazy, puts in zero work in the offseason, country club Boeser before touching miller

We aren’t getting a center better than miller with no picks , prospects, cap or players that other teams will want

Pipe dream thinking you can trade OEL for a cheap 3c or a quality top 4 guy

Most of the guys we want to trade have negative value because other GMs aren’t as stupid as benning

  12. Tracktoy

    Dream off season.

    Trade JT.

Get a 2C (that’s the hard part obviously)

    LTIR OEL. 🏝️🏝️🏝️

Trade Brock to Minny for … stuff.

Sign EP40 to max term (whatever it takes)

    Give EP40 the C.

    A boy can dream.

What has Seravalli been right about this year besides the Mikheyev injury

  14. UncommonHouseSpider

Can you just try and write a positive story for once? Would it be so hard to not talk about this team in terms of who’s next up on the trade block…

  15. Well the way he is finishing the season he is making himself look attractive if there was a trade out there

  16. brandedwaffle

Hopefully they move him. This isnt a playoff team still. We need younger assets that can help us be a long term contender.

  17. mindless_sheep_btw

Is there another trade deadline to hype up that I don’t know about?

  18. theeroftheyear

I sincerely think that he will end up a Detroit Red Wing

  19. ClosPins

Boy, the ink barely dried on his contract before management realized what a humongous mistake they made!

I guess that’s better than the old management’s ability to never admit a mistake – and then double-down on it…

  20. mediumyeet

I don’t believe this is true. I’m sure they will listen on Miller but it will take a massive offer for them to consider anything.

    *Snip snap snip snap*

You have no idea the physical toll that three separate periods of trade rumours have on a person

  22. spiritofevil99

Has this guy ever been correct with rumors

  23. TortelloniMarinara

I’ll believe it when I see it Frank.

  24. jfstompers

Realistically what the ask for miller. Would futures be enough or are the Canucks married to bringing in a top 6 guy atleast in the deal?

  25. Tassimo1

Seriously people still believe what Frank says?

  26. happy--enchilada

Seravalli is a dipshit that works for a fantasy hockey website cause no one else will pay him so take it with a grain of salt.

  27. oldbabine

iffy rumour. Miller is very good. a 1st round playoff exit ( Hurricanes, Rangers..) might make a gm lose patience with a good C prospect.
