On two of Buffalo’s goals our guys weren’t on their man, they were watching the puck, Buffalo’s guys went by them and put the puck in the net. I hope in film review today the entire team gets an ear full from the coaching staff. That’s just fucking sloppy. Tighten up boys, be better than that.
sloppy and lazy game. but some positives with hughes back in the goal column (and a phantom hat trick) and getting another multi-point night, some fight in them after the reverse hit on hischier, and staying in the game until the final buzzer. they’re still punching above our weight as far as what was expected this year and there’s gonna be growing pains.
go all out tonight to clinch playoffs and work on some new stuff to prepare for the first round in the last stretch of games.
It doesn’t show it in highlights but with like 2 minutes left Meier and someone (haula maybe?) Had a 2 on 1 shorthanded and the Buffalo defenseman gave it 100% and got a stick on the shot. We were very close to tying a few times in the last few minutes.
