It’s not just his offense, but the guy seems teachable. He’ll take criticism with a smile and try to get better. Having said that, Bure did this in fewer games at a much younger age, so it’s hard to compare them. Pavel was also gritty. And as good as Kuzmenko’s moves are, you should have seen the Russian Rocket in his rookie year. He didn’t have an elite centre passing him the puck. No disrespect to Ronning or Linden or Craven, but they’re not Pettersson. I believe he played with Larionov in his rookie year, but by that time, Igor, as great as he was, was already past his prime. Bure basically did everything himself. Kuz can do that too, just not as often. They’re not the same player. He might be the most offensively gifted winger since Bure, but not the same. Bure was generational.

  2. Tanktards so consumed with their fantasies have missed or were unable to enjoy one of the greatest rookie season's ever. Tanktards 😆🤣😂Bedard fantasies poof!

  3. This guy is going to score some big goals for us when we get back into the post-season.

  4. Go Kuz Go! Funny, I just watched a YouTube video yesterday that claimed Pettersson was the "sole bright spot" for the Canucks this season…um…hellooooo.

  5. 35 goals for only $950,000 is the biggest bargain in the NHL. Even with his (well deserved) raise to $5.5 million next season, he's still better value than Garland and Boeser.

  6. Cana is have a chance with this man to make him as recognizable with the franchise as is Linden, Smyl or the sedins

  7. You know what's better than drafting Bure at 113th overall?

    Getting Kuz for free…
