They must’ve gotten trash offers for him because I don’t get keeping him if both sides have been ready to move on for two years now.

I wonder what we can get for him. With a 10 team NTC and $7.8 million for two more years, he’s a hard asset to move on contract factors alone. He’s obviously a tremendously skilled player and could probably maintain a P/PG season pace on a better team, but is also streaky and defensively lackluster.
He’s a polarizing player for sure. But in BMac I trust 🤞

It’s time – such a complicated player. Will always appreciate the 2018 run, but Strome can center Ovechkin to the record. The roster spot and cap space is better used elsewhere

Got no issue with this…just get a LEGIT top-6 player in return. He should have decent value on the market. And no…Connor McMichael is not ready to fill that role.

Yeah I’m perfectly fine with this and if we get good youth or picks in return then that works for me. Dude had that playoff run, but really hasn’t been putting in solid results for what his talent is.
Makes a bunch of money, has a modified NTC, and only shows up to play when he feel like it. Kuzy, I love ya, but you ain’t goin nowhere unless some other GM makes some brain-dead trade that actually works for us.
If he gets dealt I’m ok with it. Not sure if they can move him with his contract. He’s been so frustrating to watch though the years. When he’s on he’s on but many nights he just takes off.
Idk the details of his NTC, this screams Minneasota to me though.
I gotta wonder if the friction is because of his behavior or if he’s frustrated for another reason and acting out. Either way, he’s not helping his cause by his sloppy play.
This makes me sad. Kuzy’s always been one of my favourite caps. Seeing him go would be very hard for me. Part of me wanted to see him retire a cap.
