I actually can’t believe it’s been 5 years
Blackwood said on the radio the team didn’t know how the Florida game ended, « we thought we had to win »
Nico had a great game, hughes looks like the game is flowing and coming to him at his will and isn’t forcing it. Hughes and Hamilton were both too quiet recently, nice to see them both shake it off.
Few moments of holding my breath, but a solid game overall. Only 9 games left, just hoping for some solid hockey and team gets hot at the same time again. Hoping Blackwood being inserted back into the rotation wakes up the goalies. It feels like we are getting a lot of just okay performances, although Blackwood didn’t cost the game or anything tonight. He did seem to be fighting the puck and reacting late though, every shot from the point felt like it could find its way by him.
WE ARE PLAYOFF BOUND!! GET FUCKIN HYPE AND MISS ME WITH THAT NEGATIVITY!

Glad that we’re officially in, hopefully that takes some pressure off of the boys. Since the rest of the games don’t matter as much I’m hoping we just use them as an opportunity to clean up our game a bit without having to worry about collecting any more points. It’s still very possible to win the division but either way I’m very happy landing 3rd place or higher. Let’s tighten it up and get ready to take it to the rags in round one!

Based on the recap we suck and shouldn’t have won… but did based on the same reason we got deflated and lost last game. This team needs to wake the fuck up and so does our goalie situation
HYPE TRAIN IS FUELED UP, COCKED, LOCKED, AND READY TO ROCK
Loved the grit today and the win despite clinching the playoffs midway through. Great to be there in person. Hughes is also getting back to normal which is much needed going into the playoffs.
Only caveat is that the defense still is shaky at times. Our defenseman sometimes look like their moving in slo mo. Getting out of own zone is also rough. Just gotta clean those things up and work on them before the playoffs.
