Your nuts and dont know what the hell you are talking about. The Redwings traded a 25 yr old D man with 38 points and plus 8 for draft picks. This trade just assured that the Wings tread water. The NHL is a win now league when its 4 years into a rebuild. Yzerman does not identify talent until they have him over a barrell , then pays top dollar or lose them for nothing, in this case future players for a top star D man.
