If the leafs current goalie projection continues as it is i think the leafs have to find a way to sign Sammy to at least another few year contract and buy Murray out. His buyout is relatively cap friendly and i truly believe Woll and Sammy need to be the 2 regular goalies in the leafs rotation starting October.
As good as the Preds are, they should tank the rest of the season and trade Saros. They have a lot of underrated young talent and could be a threat again in just a couple years. Not a rebuild, just a retool

Idk about “anyone can win the west, just get in” Vegas and Colorado are arguably still juggernauts in the west that can likely give any team in the East an even matchup. I think LA and Edmonton aren’t too bad either. LA 8-0-2 in last 10 and Minnesota not too bad either they’ve only lost 1 of their last 16 in regulation so… yea the west has some pretty good teams lol
Every time I watch Woll, I gain more respect for his game. His style is quiet and under control. He stays centred, well balanced and rarely over commits on the play. His stick work is impeccable which keeps his hands in great position. He seems to be a very strong skater and his footwork gets him into a square position early. I like the fact he doesn't appear to get too high or low emotionally and stays within himself. I believe he's NHL ready but I would still like to see a few more starts before coming to that conclusion. From what I've witnessed so far he's the Leafs future if not the present.

I say since they are going to funish 2nd and face tampa in playoffs why not give a few more starts to woll and see what he is made of if he continues to play solid you have to consider him in the roster.Everytime i watch murray im just waiting for one of those soft goals that he being given up lately to creep in his game .Murray just doesnt feel confindent
