Their depth is ridiculous. Don't forget Hall, Foligno, Forbert besides the others mentioned are out of the lineup.
Bruins depth and size on D makes them a much better team in the playoffs. They have tough guys who can take care of business and 4 lines to punish teams that get lazy. They'll go 16-5 in the postseason

GG Bruins, great game and not upset about the Canes performance. Wish they put Necas and Aho on the shootout, I feel like it would have been closer. Hurricanes had a lot of key players out of the lineup as well, but that was due to injuries. Not to mention how pessimistic people were after Svechnikov got injured -saying how the Canes are done for the season-, I think beating the Rangers, Leafs, an coming close to Bruins proves they're still in. Still like the depth on both teams and I feel they both proved why they're the top in the NHL tonight.
Also, I personally feel the lack of those top players benefited the Bruins tonight. Those missing players on the Bruins draw an awful lot of penalties. Easy to speculate though

Great game. The Canes dominated in the third though. Seems like the Bruins have problems with fast teams that take away space. The pp finally worked and without Bergy and Marchand. Been saying it for months the pp personnel needs to be mixed up so the oppositions never knows exactly hot to defend them

Swayman played that well, does it diminish how well Ullmark has been this season? People expect Ullmark to win the Vezina. Why not someone like Sorokin who is carrying the Islanders to the playoffs?

The bruins are so good they won what was basically a scheduled loss. Back to back against two of the top teams in the NHL while missing 4 key players, it's unbelievable
Bruins have three Dmen that can play well over twenty quality minutes in any situation right now. McAvoy, Lindholm, and Orlov. There are teams that would kill to have just one. Charlie Coyle and Bertuzzi could be 2nd line on any other team, Hall and Foligno are on LTIR until the playoffs. I'm calling it right now, Stars are gonna win the Cup. Seguin's revenge.
Difference between others teams having 2 first lines as well, the bruins on top of their 2 first lines also have a 2nd and 3rd line being their bottom 6, and having top 4 defence playing their bottom 6, and a starting goalie as a back up 😂
When you have Lindholm, McAvoy and Orlov on the ice for 60 minutes, it’s tough to matchup with that defense.
Solid 1st and 2nd periods, but… it happened again. After 2 goals lead, Bruins felt asleep. But considering a back to back game and absence of Bergy and Marchy guys showed good game!
