Hopefully the refs are switched out for the next vegas game. Not blaming the refs for the loss but a lot of missed calls and bad calls, that mcdavid crosscheck is embarrassing to the league.

Played from behind all night again, just like the Coyotes and the Sharks. Way too long on that last shift for sure.
And who made this schedule? All Calgary games long done, Leafs, Boston, Phoenix and Vegas twice within a week, maybe Mtl also,back to back Winnipeg. Twice against the Kings coming up. Soooooo bad.

We played awful today against a Vegas team missing a lot of key guys and their 4th stringer goalie. We have to win that game in regulation, no excuses. On to the next one but we are playing one of Vegas/LA in the playoffs and while our team is better so are both of theirs. This won’t be an easy playoff run if we don’t start cleaning up our defensive issues especially with the horrible pair that is Nurse-Ceci
Kane should never be out there in OT…poor effort and coverage

They repeat defensive errors and don't correct them. Team still doesn't have a defensive mindset to go all the way. Overtime play by Kane that cost the goal was basic defense 101. Championship teams call out that kind of dumb play in the locker room and hold players accountable to not repeating it.

I don't quite understand Kane over hyman. Hyms been your work dog all year, 30 goals. Kane is consistently showing laziness in the neutral zone. I'm not a coach thou and he must of had reasons
People can STFU about winning the division now. Worry about winning a series which will be very difficult if it's the kings who are better this year. As I said before this team is nowhere near winning a cup. They can possibly win a series or 2 but not the cup. And I know delusional fans like to deny it but Connor is bouncing the first chance he gets.
Kane and Yamamoto with McDavid is hurting McDavid’s production, they stand around waiting for the puck they’re not play makers by any stretch, breakouts are not happening with this line. Get 97 & 29 back together with Hyman.
Why do the Oilers lose in OT >90% of the time? Have the coaches even studied this? I can't see this team advancing past the first round. Goaltending is not good enough and their defensive game is no where near where it needs to be.

The oilers beat Vegas twice before so it's not the end of the world. Unfortunately, Kane has been less effective in the last 3 games and Jay needs to figure out the issue and get him going for play offs. It was a horrible idea to try and double team in ot 3 on 3. I would also have preferred other people out there at that time but it is what it is. The focus now should be fine tweeking for the playoffs and playing well the next game. Defensive giveaways need to reduce.
its like they were scripted to lose, the lack of effort is evident. just doesnt seem like genuine hockey.

We played well against a very difficult team. A difficult game, Vegas was played with inescapable confidence. It was felt and pressured, but under such pressure, the Oilers looked like a team and it was great. It's a shame that the first two goals are still the goalkeeper's fault to some extent. In overtime, a strange defensive game in the episode with a goal. It seemed to me that Kane managed to get into a fight with the attacker, and he rolled and watched. But despite the loss, it was a strong Oilers game against a very strong Vegas game.
Oilers overtime record is terrible considering the talent on the team. I like Evander Kane but he should be ashamed of his play in OT. Leaves his check alone in front of the net, then gives up on the rebound, skating behind the net! Did want a better view of the goal?
