Incredible first game for Rousek and a good game for Comrie as well, especially with that shootout performance. Some great physicality tonight but the game was far from perfect and we gotta take our point and hope for the best

I know they have to end the game somehow but…. Shootouts annoy me in more ways than one. No one did it but when people come in at a snails pace it doesn’t impress me. I think there should be a trailing defender that starts at the top of the circle or something. Other things idk how they fix. Get rid of it I guess.

Complain all you want about the shootout being fake hockey (which it is) and our guys being so plain in thier attempts during the deking competition. A team that can shutout NYI and beat NJ should’ve never come close to OT against the Habs.

Honestly, it would probably behoove Granato to call out the refereeing publicly. They’ve gotten screwed a lot with calls, presumably because they’re considered a non-physical team, and clearly barking on the bench isn’t doing anything.
