  1. I don't consider the Kings to be elite either but they have shown they can go toe to toe with just about any team, and right now they are starting to play with confidence and a bit of swagger. That makes them dangerous. I'm still not sold on Mclellan as a coach though. He has a good system in place but we've seen many times this season that when the system breaks down, he doesn't have the ability to make adjustments.

  2. The thing bugging me the most right now is how they've been SO dominant in the 1st period lately and then just seem to take the pedal off the medal and put it into cruise control after that. WHY? Where's the killer instinct? I get that the other team will make their adjustments, but c'mon you can also decide to keep the pressure on with your own subtle adjustments if necessary. I'm not expecting to dominate every second so much, but we seem to go from the best team ever to so-so way too easily. So no, we are definitely not an elite team.
Copley was not good, but he was definitely hung out to dry by his D.

  3. More good work is needed to say "Elite" The goals against v the blues is concerning. Like you said, they have not played against the best lately. Love their play otherwise.
    "Go Kings Go"

  4. Yes to Fans Feedback show tmrw, Tuesday. So to answer your question as to whether the Kings are an elite team, my answer is that the Kings are indeed a very good team; however, the jury is out regarding their eliteness. Elite teams beat very good & other elite teams much of the time. After the next 6 games, we will know if they are elite: Flames, Oilers, Kraken & Canucks on the road, then Oilers @ home (i will be attending) & then on the road vs. Vegas. If they gain 66% point percentage, I would vote for elite. Anything below that, is a not elite vote. Vegas & Oilers also have great records in March; are they elite? Jury is out for them as well until after their next 6 games. Now regarding the goalie situation, Copley had slightly better analytics until the Blues game. Korpisalo had an outstanding game vs. Jets on Saturday, so the weekend games has tilted in favor of Korpi, imho. But Tmac will likely start Korpi vs. Flames & Copper vs. Oilers, alternating until one demonstrates he is significantly better. If Korpi does well & Copper does "badly"again, then Tmac will be in a pickle because he wants both to be in top form and confident. To be fair, Copley played his "C" game on Sunday because the team's D was awful in front of him; however, he didn't make enough high quality saves when the D didn't do their job in last 40 minutes of that game. But the Kings need "A" and "B" games from each one consistently so right now Copley has to get his game back. Korpi hasn't had a "C" game yet.

  5. hi Eddie huge fan of the show been watching for quite some time I agree with you love the 12 game stretch took care of business won games that needed to be won and now we have a coupe of tough games coming up I think this is really gonna be a test to see the character this team is built off I think were truly rounding out at the right time got all the guys back and we're trending toward that elite status. Also wanting to ask what do you think the reason Is doughtys on quite the heater as of late has 5 goals in his last 6 and what do you see our overall record being in our last 9 personally think were gonna go 7-1-1 and show that we can fight it out with some real competition mark it on your calendar April 6 biggest game of the season
