fire tom curran please
I hope he comes to NE!
Dumb story, Kanye West told me Jaylen is going resign with the Celtics
Lamar has been in the NFL for 5 years and has won only 1 playoff game. And Lamar is demanding more money than Kraft paid for the whole franchise. LOLOLOLOLOLOL
3 years 133 mil fully guaranteed wasn't good enough for Lamar's family lolwut are we leaving enough legacy wealth to make sure the grandkids can wipe their asses with gold paper
Only constructive answers.. What should we do and why?
1 playoff win in 5 years. Getting increasingly injury prone. Can't throw from the pocket. Bad attitude. Basically quit on his team so he wouldn't get hurt and risk his contract. If Bill brings him in, I'm done with the Pats. Both the Jets and Miami could use him.
It’s up to Dick Belichick
Anything but Mac tour
Krafts statement can only mean 1 of 2 things:
1. He’s applying pressure on Bill to acquire Lamar by stating Lamar WANTS to be here and alluding to the fact that he’s willing to open the checkbook if Bill can make it happen
Or
2. He’s losing it
If Rodgers goes to jets, Lamar is the only shot we have to even be competitive
Burt doesn't want Lamar in NE at all, so he is hanging his hat for disliking Lamar on getting hurt every year. I think football guys look at Lamar's recent season ending injury side eye because Lamar didn't want to cause more harm to his leg, knowing that Baltimore owner and GM would use it against him, just like Burt is doing.
Lamar isn't a good fit in Boston anyway because of fans like Burt the reporter only want their certain type of guy at QB and guys like Lamar is a no no for this type of Boston crowd.
Lamar is the most electrifying man in sports entertainment today, when healthy! Take away Lamar's legs and he is a below average QB. This is why Baltimore doesn't want to give him the guarantee he is asking for. Soon as he got dinged up he could not win from the pocket. He could not bring them back from behind. The reason why he had WRs so wide open in the beginning of the season was because of his legs. Defenses had to key more on his ability to run as opposed to other QBs. Soon as he got hurt they could play him more conservative
Belichick would have to be crazy to not take Lamar over McCorkle.
Trade our future for Lamar when we could realistically get Caleb Williams next year? I'm good
STFU pushing that running back to the Pats…he's a worse passer than Mac Jones
Pass. I'm from Kentucky and watched Lamar at Louisville. His accuracy it not good and you would have to pay to much for a guy who gets hurt every year. You can find a guy in next years draft if they decide not to stay with Mac. But if I'm Mac I would trade me now. They have done nothing to help him.
“Don’t believe everything you hear about me.” -Lamar Jackson
Lamar J is great, but no single player is worth what the Browns paid Deshaun Watson. For the Pats to deal for LJ, it would require not only giving up two 1st rounders but also giving up guys like m Judon, Godchaux and david andrews, just so you could integrate Lamars salary demand into the patriots cap.
Pats have invested too much into Mac. They're building the offense around him. Hiring a New OC that caters to his skill set. If this was the 2024 off-season and let's say Mac sucks in 2023 and the pats decline his 5th year option then I could DEFINITELY see bill pull the trigger on this.
