    Was also the announcer, along with Al Michaels, of the famous « Miracle on Ice » game when the US beat the USSR, 4-3, in the 1980 Olympics.

    In NHL2002 you could get him as goalie and he literally saved everything

    Granted the team was stacked….. but 6 cups in the only 8 years he played is ridiculous.

    One of the best of all time, 6 cups in 8 years with an Ivy League law degree in the middle. Also wrote arguably the best hockey book of all time (*The Game*).

    It’s amazing how much bigger players are now. Back then he was a monster, nowadays he’d be considered a normal height goalie.
