  1. Omg 🤦 Just give it up Bettman. The experiment has obviously failed.

  2. Makes me not want to support anything Phoenix, ever. What a spiteful bunch. Go Tempe! I hope they fight back and win.

  3. The Yotes, and Yotes fans, deserve so much better. Based on what I read from Coyotes fans in this comment section, the city of Phoenix is just using this as a delay tactic because of asinine reasons.

  4. Am I the only one who doesn't see this as a big deal and this is the sort of drama you should expect as a part of moving a team to a new stadium?

  5. Why on earth would the City of Phoenix have a problem with improving a land fill area? I certainly hope that the people of Tempe vote in-favor of this and the Coyotes can rest a bit easier and concentrate on hockey.

  6. Just move them. The NHL's stubbornness on this is getting creepy. Phoenix hates that team. Let them move somewhere. They'd be more successful in like 20 other North American cities.

It feels like they're just keeping them there to keep the salary cap down.

  7. This is cause phoenix would loose money at the phoenix suns arena with events if the Tempe arena goes up. It’s why phoenix blocked the cardinals stadiums years ago in the same area just further up the street from there where Tempe marketplace is at now

  8. The yotes should explore other opportunities, like oh I don't know.. ….Milwaukee?

  9. The bigger problem for people who live close to airports is the fuel vapor that is highly toxic. My step sister died at 31 from cancer. She lived directly under airplanes that were landing for 15 years.

  10. Best way to make people vote for your mega project in their city is to have someone they don’t like tell them they aren’t allowed to build it. This lawsuit is built to fail and will massively improve public support for the arena. Could just be an idiot trying to stop it but my guys is it’s not.

  11. Taxpayer money. Entertainment dollars that Phoenix wants to go into its coffers and not Tempe's. An entertainment district right near the airport is close enough to Downtown Phoenix to potentially draw some of that money away.

  12. Saying this won’t cost tax payers anything is wrong. Meruelo is seeking $500 million in tax breaks. If he’s not paying that, who do you think is?

  13. How about a Class Action Lawsuit against the City of Phoenix and City Council for defamation of character and shady business practices. Most people know that politicians go into Govt. to get rich with side deals and off the record business dealings, so lets give them something worry about, instead of messing around in another cities (Tempe) opportunity to better itself. Admit it City of Phoenix, you are to stupid to grow and better yourself, so you want to pick on someone else.

  14. Real simple Shannon, the whole state is corrupt. There are wheels to grease yet
