  1. Rather than immediately watch your show, Eddie, I was watching a History Channel show on the Bubonic plague today…kind of like the Kings when they turn in to overpaid, underworking prospects/AHL skil-types. Suddenly, the leaders have turned in t…well, Dustin browns in late Winter/early Spring 2012. For those of you with short memories, a rumor began that he was on the verge of being traded. Suddenly, he picked up his game and was a real leader going in to the playoffs…including a few short handed goals. Watching the Kings failing-at every turn-to score against Calgary, I was just wonderin', there are only two players left who played for Sutter…was one of them feeling sorry for him? <lol> Probably not Doughty…naw, doubt Kopi cares about those past seasons. So suddenly I was able to listen to the radio broadcast…and was reminded of the sad old days of Kings hockey-when the only word for their play was "c-h-o-k-e". So, do we assume a wipe out in Edmonton? This time around, no steak dinners…just falling to third if they lose. And they can still slide right out of the playoffs…but they'd have to really stink in their last few games? Here's holding my breath??? Whatever happens, excuses are ever ready to describe how they finish…countin' on the Times be as sardonic as possible! Still pulling for Villardi & Fiala to fully recover…

  2. From what I saw, Markstrom was the reason why the Kings lost to the Flames. He was embarrassed last week by the Kings winning 8-2 plus Flames are fighting for their playoff lives. Korpisalo also played wekk but I saw more high danger shots by the Kings so kudos to Markstrom. Overall the Kings played ok, not awful. I also expect our goalie rotation to continue for 2 more games at least. Korpisalo has edged ahead of Copley but not decisively so. One more "bad" game by Copley might push Tmac to favor Korpisalo. I already favor Korpi.
