I think Kevyn Adam's made a statement at the trade deadline that the Sabers are not going to the play-off with the moves he made with Greenway and more so Stillmam. So since then I think Granato move or maybe Adams goal is to tank so they don't end up in that 16-12 range in the lottery. This would explain many of the strange moves as well.
