Pretty much the same with the Iginla. They both played great when riled up.

As a young stars fan at the time, I was with Forsberg and yeah, I learned quickly he is a scorer and someone who could also fuck you up. Legendary

It’s like Street Fighter II out there lol

I love Foppa for this. Smart, fast, skilled, possibly best stability on skates, and when he got upset, he’d start knockinhg guys over. Such a versatile and complete player.
I think Forsberg was one of my favorite players ever. Top three for sure. Pure skill mixed with a mastery of reverse hits and sneaky physicality. Selfishly I wish the Flyers didn’t add him to the Lindros trade. But I did love watching him with the Avs and I am glad he was there when my favorite goalie of all time, Roy, got a some cups. What a player.

Fuck Dallas.

It was amazing to watch on those games where he would just *decide* that the Avs weren’t losing and would just punish another team.

He was awesome. That whole team was a nightmare to play. Which was what made beating them in the Western Conference Finals in 99 so great. Buffalo was a cakewalk after that series even with the Stars being banged up.

The Wings – Avs rivalry was legendary. Must see tv in Michigan for 4 years.

Forsberg was a beast. We all lost when his career was shortened by the foot injury.

Pure beauty.
Coach: Whatever you do, don’t piss off Forsberg
