The Johnson trade still makes me scratch my head. A few games in, he seems like a downgrade from Englund.
hope he doesnt get claimed I dont think hes a huge liability out there, would be a good 7th man. I could see him in a bottom pairing with someone else eventually. Having a lot of great defense is a small curse in this regard, because as we all know if our defense doesnt get injured then we already have our 6 + 2 so there not much space for him and we have the college guys coming in as well. But with a d core of Manson, Makar, Toews, Sammy G, Bo, EJ, JJ, and Dermy, he just doesnt have enough to be a consistent starter here. Since however we havent had the health we’ve wanted, id love to keep him at least as an option
