I saw some people comparing themselves in their 20s and just figuring out life to Kasper at 18 (and 16) and leaving home for a foreign land. Saying Hockey players are a different breed etc etc. I don’t want to say they aren’t a different breed but it’s important to remember they have a hugely different web of support to most of us. I’ve little doubt the org helped him with getting a flight and getting picked up at the airport and setting him up with a place to stay. And the whole team welcoming him in.
Yeah he has to mature quickly but he has a ton of people to help him. We can’t directly compare ourselves or our past selves to this.
Also, he is still just a kid even doing all this, which is why the support is so necessary, remember Berggren driving to the wrong Grand Rapids?

I really hope we get to see him play in at least 1 game
