McDavid has had 5×10 game point streaks this season setting a new NHL record breaking Gretzky's record of four in 86/87 plus oh yeah, his goal was the 300th of his career (letting him join the 300 club on the Oilers which includes Leon Draisiatl and Evander Kane. Stuart Skinner faced a 43 shot barrage and let in ZERO for his first shutout of the season (and 2nd of his NHL Career). Yeah, I think he's playoffs ready (chortle, snicker). Look, hate to bring up ghosts of the past but we need Campbell (or whoever) to step up as 2nd Goalie because what happens if, God Forbid, Stu gets hurt. Remember, if EVERY player does well the team does better. Can we talk about the first goal, the Evander Kane finish on an other worldly no look backhand pass by Leon Draisaitl. That pass, DUDE, I mean really, give every other player an inferiority complex or what. Vegas LOST to San Jose (in OT so they got a Bettman point). Right now the Oilers are one up on LA, 2 back of Vegas (who have a game in hand). Take care all.
👉🏻The Oilers could very well finish 1️⃣st in the division, especially considering their recent winning ways. 🤜🏻Looking closer at Vegas’s remaining schedule, they easily have the toughest opponents of any current playoff/wildcard teams. 👍🏻The Flames have a more favourable one, than the Jets, for that last, wildcard spot.
It could be a potential Battle of Alberta, 1️⃣st round…remember where you heard this.
Another amazing game. I waited all year for this game I wanted to see how the oilers would match up with the kings late in the season to see how much we have progressed. On a side note…..last year mathews got a PARADE …. for scoring 60 what's should we do for McDavid?
