@Canucks de Vancouver

    Her reaction at the end is hilarious. And that cruel Canucks worker outing her that her twitter is all about Brock lol.

    He just seems like such a genuine, exceptionally nice human being.

    I just love him.

    Brock seems like such a stand up person. I know that he may be moving on in the off-season (even though we seem to always say that he is maybe gone) but really enjoying the fact that he is around one of my fav teams, it makes it easier to cheer for the canucks

    Edit: easIER

    Aw Brock 💖 I know he’s had his ups and downs here but you cannot deny that he is a genuinely good guy with such a kind soul. I’ll be cheering for him wherever he goes

    Edit: found the girls twitter and she is so over the moon haha. And he did sign the stick!

  5. Brock is a great dude, hate that he might be traded soon.

    This stuff.

    This is the important stuff about having a professional hockey team in the community.

    Yes, I want to see my team succeed and a Stanley Cup would be nice, but this is the important stuff. This is what being a part of the community means. And while it seems performative at times, it’s very important to the people it affects.

    When I was young I knew a kid in my community (in Duncan) that was diagnosed with leukemia – it ended up being terminal for him. This was before Canucks For Kids was a thing but Trevor Linden personally visited him at Ronald McDonald House a few times when he was at BC Children’s for chemo and it made a world of a difference for a kid whose days were effectively numbered. I will always be grateful for that kind of attention that was given to my friend.

    For all the bad rap that corporate philanthropy gets these days, RMH and CFK do some pretty incredible work.
