Thank you for posting. Love these videos where you can see skills in isolation. Very reminiscent of Hughes and the modern era of d men. Smart and elusive pivots on retrieval and slick, precise outlet passes. These are the players you need for quick transition. Really looking forward to seeing Akito get some games in before season ends.
It’s kind of odd that the d-man we just signed out of college kind of looks like a mini-Hughes in how he skates and moves out there, and then the guy that the Av’s signed (Malinski) looks like a mini-Makar with how he skates and moves out on the ice.
