I want CBJ to succeed as much as any other fan but we can’t be rooting for Ws right now. I think tonight is more on the Sens playing horribly though. Looking at every teams final 6, we really need to not pick up anymore points.
Players don’t tank…front offices do. This team we iced tonight would not be allowed to play in the preseason due to the current rule set. This one is on the Senators playing down to an AHL team so direct your hate to them.

You all make me laugh. Yeah, I want the top draft pick, but also, don’t expect professional athletes to just not try either. Especially the AHL players. All of those guys are out to prove something. They want to prove they should be on the team. Playing bad on purpose so the team gets a top draft pick does nothing for their career. They need to shine and stand out so they get noticed. Robbie just said on post-game. « Playing for jobs ».

This was Kiriil’s 53rd game. What a gem he is. Seeing how well he plays, and seeing his attitude and positivity makes it all the more baffling how he was treated over in the KHL. So happy he is here. What a huge piece of the future he will be.

What doesn’t always get noticed but should. Peeke and Bayreuther were out there matched against Ottawa’s top lethal line of Tkachuk, Stutzle, and Giroux. They kept them completely off the score sheet. Pretty impressive !!!
