April Fools day was yesterday, why are Keith and Seabrook here?

  2. Pronger and Niedermeyer on the Ducks was just unfair

  3. willymoeSR

The Blues, totally biased opinion 🤣

  4. 77Columbus

There’s also Bobby Orr and Dallas Smith. In 70-71 Orr was +124 (highest ever in a single season) and Smith was +98.

  5. BallistaInChains

Coffey and Huddy may not be the greatest ever but they deserve mention.

  6. a pairing nobody is gonna mention but should be near the top of this list is the 80s flyers pair of mark howe-brad mccrimmon

  7. HardKnockRiffe

Hard to leave Bobby Orr and [whoever Boston paired Bobby Orr with] off the list, tbh…

  8. noodleyone

    Orr-traffic cone, Robinson-Savard, Harvey-Johnson maybe?

  9. Bobby Orr and whoever the hell was also playing the blue line that shift.

  10. BrooksideNL

Raymond Bourque and Donald Sweeney were a lovely undersized pairing.

  11. Marc Methot & Erik Karlsson. Honestly feels like any LD and Erik Karlsson is going to work, because Karlsson is just next level awesome.

Looks like Devan Toews and Cale Makar are heading towards superstardom.

  12. cbrucebressler

Bobby Orr and whoever played with him that night.

  13. NomadicNematode128

Seabrook and Keith being in the same convo with these other pairs is absolutely laughable.

    Stevens – Niedermayer

Kept the Leafs to 6 shots on goal one game during the playoffs

Not even a Wings fan, but Nicklas Lidstrom and Vladimir Konstantinov were unbelievable in their short time together. If it weren’t for the accident, I think they would’ve ended up there with the best pairing’s ever.

I have to go with Cup Winners so I will say Stevens and Niedermayer. Both hall of famers and it is a situation where they are both co #1

  17. Tall-Escape9736

Scott Niedermayer might be the most complete defensemen the game has ever seen. One of the most fluid skaters I’ve ever had the pleasure to watch.

  18. queenw_hipstur

    Denis and Jean Potvin

    Ray Bourque and Rob Blake

  19. SayNoToStim

I vaguely remember Lidstrom and Chelios playing together briefly in 2002. They would finish 1st and 2nd for Norris, so yeah, theres that.

  20. ChristyLovesGuitars

Leaving out Coffey and Murphy, two Hall of Famers, is a bold move.

  21. 10fingers6strings

    Pronger/Macinnes

    Borque/Blake

    Murphy/Coffey

  22. BackJurton

Chris Chelios and Steve Smith were 🔥

  23. Biscuit_In_Basket

    Lidstrom and Konstantinov.

  24. REMA5TER

Chara and Seidenberg were absolutely impenetrable for a couple years.

  25. abassassasssin

    The answer is always lidstrom

  26. folkdeath95

    Buff and Enstrom

Obviously not actually but I miss both of those men

  27. hi_brett

The old fellas will tell you it was Lidstrom and Murphy.

Also, look up pictures of Murphy playing. Guy was a house.

  28. Ben_Pharten

Evidsson and Seider is looking good too
