Malgin and neito, but my heart wants to say malgin and erod. He’s just been so ineffective basically all year.
RealRaschuoir
Do we need to send any of these 12 to Loveland? Don’t we have 3 skaters who don’t dress for each game — why not send two of them?

Is Landy really coming back this year?

Malgin and Nieto. This isn’t even a question.

If y’all really think scratching Eller would help you’re out your mind. He’s a key face-off guy and penalty killer and heavy forechecker. So valuable to the playoff run
McMannis90
It’s Malgin and Nieto without question. Keep that 4th line intact. Suddenly your third line is Newhook, Eller, and ERod. A heavy forcheck and solid 3-zone play. They will make a great playoff 3rd line.

Eller and malgin
avaheli
top line: Mack, Lehkonen and Rantinen. Rodrigues will play with Landeskog and Nuke on a second line. Eller anchors the third line with Newhook and Compher. Nieto and Malgin slot in when/where needed.

My feeling is that it could change from game to game based on what Bedsy wants to see from the 3rd line. Defensive option could be LBNMN-Eller-Erod (so Newy and Malgin out). Offensive Option could be Malgin-Newy-Erod (so LBNMN and Eller out).
Sometimes I am also asking myself if the 4th line is really locked forever and always. Eller could also fit in there if we want to play more shut-down focused hockey there.
If I had to bet on one guy to sit in the first playoff game, I would put my money on LBNMN. For the second one it‘s a close call between Malgin and Newy because I really don’t know how Bedsy will decide.

Newhook and malgin.

Newhook and ERod drop to third. Malg and Nieto scratch. Nuke drops to 2 with Lehky. Bring back the best first line in hockey.

I believe Landy will be back in the playoffs! It’s probably not the 1st round, maybe 2nd round. I think he would have stayed in Sweden if he was still too injured to play.
Also, there would definitely be a rotation of the lines, but Malgin and Helm would be out. Just cause Neito is
actually a great penalty killer.
CarelessLevel6502
2 of the current 3rd line.
caelw3
If they’re both back, my guess is the lines look like
Nuke-MacK-Mikko
Landy-JT-Lehky
Newhook-Eller-ERod
Cogs-Helm-LOC
dress Malgin if we need an extra forward
Jaynator11
Newhook, Malgin, ERod & Nieto- depending on their form & mood.

Newy would be next in for me, then E-Rod

Malgin and Newhook.
* Maglin has been a great story, but he’s cooled off and is barely getting ice time as it is (8:21/avg his last 4GP).
* Newhook has had a tough season and is arguably in the midst of his worst stretch, with 0 points (and a -7) in his last 11GP. He’d be bumped off PP2 once Landeskog/Lehkonen return, and he does not PK.
* That’s why I’d keep Nieto in the line-up. His offensive output has been similar to those two players (12G), and he’s a strong penalty killer.
Considering all three of these players will likely only be chipping in offense in a limited ice time role, I think Nieto is the best play due to his PK abilities.

I hate saying this and I really really hope I’m wrong because I love gabe, but the way everything keeps getting pushed back over and over, this kind of seems like something landy might not be coming back from.
Hidden_Sturgeon
Helm and Nieto
Use Newhook as third line center, and Lars taking face-offs on the checking line with Rodrigues on his right
CerebralAssass1n
Boyyy that 2nd line is looking so weak
goatcopter
Top 6 wings are pretty interchangeable based on matchups, but some version of:
Lehky-MacK-Rants
Landy-JTC-Nuke
Newhook-Ellers-ERod
Cogs-Helm-Loc
Malgin and Nieto enjoy the press box, but can come in when we need more speed and scoring instead of heavy checking. Run them with Newhook in-between, or put them with Ellers and Newhook goes to the 4th while Helm and Erod rest.
