    I mean at this point anyone with even a minor injury might as well be shut down, which I assume is what they’re doing.

    It feels like they’re doing a very smart and cautious “Only if you’re absolutely perfect, rest and heal.”

    Typically hockey players play injured, especially if they’re in contention. But if you’re a bottom team, I say embrace the tank and let players rest and see what pieces you get from the draft and then start building that cohesion in the off-season and pre-season.
