This game is one of the worst of my life. Caps lose, Kane barely put up any fantasy points and now I’m most likely losing my fantasy league (not just because of Kane but a goal would have really helped)
Kid line is on fire rn for the Rangers
After two consecutive disappointing losses, this was a sympathy win because the Caps have packed it up. The consolation prize is the fact, the Rangers didn’t come out flat and allow couple goals in the first period.

Caps GM has already publicly said he's planning to make changes this summer. Washington is now in the Bedard lottery and even if they don't, they are going to get a good prospect. Laviolette is gone this summer so Washington will have a new coach. A long summer could be really good for the older guys to heal up. Remember Wilson and Backstrom missed camp and the first few months. Before they came back, Carlson went out for months. Oshie has been injured all year. Those guys rest up and a new coach comes in – a few trades – Washington could be in the playoffs next year.
Washington is such a shitshow. DPoS allows them to play like a glorified beer league squad.

Interesting Fact.. When Chytill, Kappo, and; Laffy all get a point in the same game; The Rangers are: (20-0-2)… The kid line is definitely dangerous.. Yet, again Rangers fans invaded the Caps home..
