This is pretty interesting, and gives us a reason to be optimistic that there’s a higher ceiling here than one might expect. Sounds like he’s basically a completely different player than the one that was passed over in the draft.

His coach obvs batting for him but putting him in the same sentence as 5OVR Kent Johnson is still pretty high praise.
Seems like Allvin is really going all-in on the Canucks outscoring their problems with all these forwards on defense though.

Quinn Hughes transitioned from forward to D as a teen as well. I think Bieksa was the same.
I always found it strange how the local media has never really covered Hughes moving to D. They just keep covering the same boring stories.
