   Sanderson for Calder and Talbot should not even be able to practice with the team just send him home

   Talbots effort is abysmal pretty disappointing looks like he doesn't care recently don't think he should start another game this season

   Couldnt Agree more with York Today. The only benefit of Sanderson not winning the Calder is hopefully we save a bit on his next contract that is hopefully long-term and signed this summer.

   If players vote on awards, I think they shouldn't be allowed to vote for anyone on the team they play on. I also think the journalists who vote should do the same because there's evidence of how they don't even vote for someone in their top 5 so the guy they want to win does. So at the start of the season Journalists should identify the team they cover most and they can't vote for anyone on that team at the end of the year.

   The analytics folk never liked the Talbot trade (they all thought his Minnesota numbers were inflated and his trends were poor; that was my opinion as well). I imagine the 'everyone' being referred to are the media & personalities around the team.

   Gus struggled here. Killing it in Minny. Murray struggled here. Killing it in Toronto. Pretty sure the goalies aren't the problem

    So all we need is to bring a good defenseman and goalie in the off season, oh and do all this without worrying about the salary cap? Should be easy enough, just need to trade Chabot first I suppose to get his salary off the books. No discussion about how we pay for all these guys, even if we have an owner willing to spend to the cap it is irrelevant.

    Coaching ultimately is the reason they didn't make the playoffs. Maybe they're destined to be a middle of the pack team forever. I don't care what anyone says, a competent good coach would have this team in the playoffs easily even with the injuries. Ottawa giving away good goalies has been a theme for a decade. Doesn't matter how well they play, the coach and team will always go back to the veteran goalies and the young guys have to wait to be moved somewhere else to drive or to be given the chance. Roster decisions right out of camp, lines, lack of structure offensively and defensively…put that all together and you get what we have. Another disappointing season. I did not like the Talbot trade, Gustafsson is just hitting his prime and Ottawa gets a veteran goalie who was unhappy he had competition and ultimately request a trade. Why on earth would you want to bring that guy into your locker room? Just stupid stuff like this cost them dearly and will for years to come

    Hamonic brings tons of intangibles that don't show up on the score sheet. He blocks anything he can. I want him back. At the right low price I'd even do 2 years. Sens HAVE to get another veteran goaltender. Successful season regardless. Now it's 8+ years of playoffs or bust!!

    I hated the Gustavsson trade! Always Loved The Gus. from Day 1. Begged that they protected him over Joey Daccord. They did. Then they gave him away for a 3.5 Million dollar BUST! Ugggghhh.

    I hated the Talbot trade from the get go and I went on hockeybuzz and said so. I remembered him from his days in Edmonton where the fan base couldn't wait to see the last of him. He hasn't changed a bit. He will make some great saves but will always let in one or more really soft goals at the worst possible time. High glove side then and now. Or stupid goals from a shot in the corner below the goal line beating him on the short side somehow. Same thing. What kind of scouts do the Sens have? First Murray then Talbot.

    If you lose the idea of your numbered pairs of D and just say you have 3 pairs with Chabot, Chychrun and Sanderson on the left side and Zub, Brannstrom and whoever on the right side then maybe Brannstrom can work most of the time. I'd put JBD in on the right side as well.
