We’re both 4-6-0 in the last 10, but I have to give this one to Detroit
Ouf my motivation is fading. Not sure if I’ll find the courage to watch this one.
With so many injuries I wonder if miffed Marty has had a change of heart about being forced to play Farrell by meanie dictator GM Hughes.
The greatest threat to Marty establishing his culture appears to be injuries.
Fuck is detroit ever a cautionary tale.
This is year 7 of the rebuild and they have added 1 first rounder in the past 6 drafts.
They have some pieces for sure, but the inability to add any high end picks when they were picking top 10 is a problem.
They missed on a few which will happen but give themselves basically no back up chances to compensate for it.
Even if they develop what they have, they are probably 2 players away from being legit with 1 being a superstar.
I’m not sure detroit comes out of this as a legit contender.
Next draft our picking criteria should be who’s most injury prone so they can fit in the team’s culture from day 1
