@Canucks de Vancouver

    I think these kids know signing with the Canucks means they’ll very likely see nhl ice time

    It’s easy to support a RHD signing in Vancouver even if it’s a NCAA long shot.

    Know nothing about the kid, but it looks like 4 years of positive growth in his game. Trending well.

    Reporters scrambling for news are hyping these situations up way too much. Canucks MIGHT sign player who MIGHT make the NHL as a replacement level player.

    Cole McWard sounds like you asked ChatGPT to invent the whitest guy possible.

  7. So I’m not super knowledgeable about these things but is there a reason these guys weren’t drafted? Is it a case of them not being good enough at the time but having improved in the college system?

    I like the idea of bringing in slightly more seasoned and educated players into the mix. If they can cut mustard, I think it only benefits a team culturally.

    Similar on-paper profile to Zach Whitecloud. McWard is a little younger at the time of signing, but same position, similar size & production, both signed out of mid-level NCAA programs. Odds are long but what a home run that would be.
