HEAD COACH GERARD GALLANT NEW YORK RANGERS
Never seen a coach so reactive and uncomfortable to these pressers. He often exaggerates injuries to make the all seem minor. Lingren was initially day to day also and was out three weeks came back early then out another 10 days. At this point I dont believe anything he says at these pressers, he lies openly about injuries and is not forthcoming at all with health status. If I were the league, I’d admonish him for playing down his roster availability.

I can’t believe how bad the questions were. They’re about to play Tampa, a team that beat them in the playoffs last year, and the media only asks about who’s in who’s out?
He took a solid hit I think in 2nd period along the side boards of last game. I thought ah that looked like it hurt. When he got hit the boards didn't give and he just got squished between player and boards.
