I dont know why the Kings didnt try to avoid the Oilers in the first round…They went for the top spot, now they're in trouble! Unless they do the Oilers a favour and beat Vegas tomorrow. That might open the door for the Oilers to take the top spot in Division, thereby giving the Kings a temporary reprieve….

As a Kings fan, I witnessed a pretty damn good Oilers team, taking it from my boys. Having Fiala and Anderson out of line up wouldn't matter, I'm afraid. I hate to say this, but the Oilers are going to the Cup finals. They're that good!

I didn't like the way the kings played the oilers last night I found the kings were playing not to lose instead of playing to win and it was way to many pucks turnt over in their zone and in the offensive zone and crazy blind passes across the oilers crease hoping for someone to b there and there wasn't it's almost like dishing the puck off hoping for the best they weren't setting up and making plays happen like they can do when the confidence is there and with skinner playing well don't help the issues the kings r having and the kings can't go in thinking they can kill all the oilers power plays wich I don't think they do but they got to get back to playing kings hockey wich is work work work and skate skate skate I hope the kings straighten some things out before the playoffs start and getting first in the conference was so important because they would of only had to go through the oilers or vegas not both wich now looks like thats gonna b the case but as always GKG 💯
Kings gave valiant effort but by 3rd period they were visibly out of gas. Yes they did tie up the game but oilers had a obvious advantage in that 3rd period. It's impossible to play mistake free hockey against someone like oilers. Yesterday and even last Thursday up in Edmonton kings tried that approach and both times kings lost. Not having scoring depth is certainly an issue with kings only scoring 1 goal in 6 periods of play. Missing Fiala and Vilardi doesn't help. Defensively and goaltending wise kings have looked good but the lack of offensive skill might do kings in. The season has been overall success but kings and Rob Blake will need to take the team to another level and find a 2nd line center plus probably another scoring winger during the off-season. It won't be easy but to get to that elite level this team needs more size up front and more scoring depth. Still hoping for successful playoffs and go kings go.
