Considering the lightning dominated their last 3 games and clinched a playoff spot, it’s hard to get upset about losing to a team that can score 6 goals in one period. Rangers are gonna be a deadly team in the playoffs. But for all my other lightning fans, remember this team is consistently one of the best teams in the playoffs. Playoffs are gonna be a bloodbath (just like last year) but I still wouldn’t bet against the lightning. Stamkos plays his 1000th career game tomorrow. Let’s go bolts!
Ben Harpur has been a really solid 7th defenseman for the rangers. Rangers had a good game tonight; really showed up in most facets of the game. I just wish they would win more battles along the boards
This game had brawls, Proper fights, big hits & not 1 is shown in the highlights. Why are you trying to ruin your own leauge @nhl. At least the Canadian broadcasts actually show the action.
Outstanding, Rangers! Another successful lunch break at work watching Ranger highlights. I'd like to know why the Lightning were awarded the goal for Igor's consecutive saves. it didn't appear to clearly cross the goal-line; maybe the full broadcast had better angles. Either way…LGR, BABY!!!
Good 60 minute game by the Rangers today. With Kane out for maintenence, we looked virtually the same; the slack left behind was pulled up immiediately. Strong physical play by Harper too. Kreids and Motte getting in were excellent; need them to heat up for the playoffs. First four goals were: Power Play, Kid Line, Fourth Line, and Fourth Line. Threats at every line makes the Rangers one of the deepest rosters in the game, and that wins playoff games.
Lightning looked dismal tonight. You can't give the 23% Powerplay conversion team 10 power plays and expect to win the game. Vasilevsky looked like he was paper thin tonight.

The rangers defense has been very very impressive over the past 15 games. Very exceptional play all across the board.
Boston, Tampa, Carolina, Jersey, Toronto… All of these teams are scared of the rangers.
Several threats on each line. Each defensive pair is phenomenal. Both goalies are playing absolutely fantastic.
