To be fair, I attended a game this year where the Saddledome did the exact same thing to Brent Burns. It was hilarious when we did it, and I’m sure the Jets fans found it hilarious when they did it. Just fans being fans IMO
Edit for context: Burns took a hard crosscheck to the face, a legitimate penalty. Take a scroll through the r/canes thread if you want to see some Canes fans upset about the booing, AND us doing the wave lol
As a flames fan in Winnipeg at the game I think the crowd was pumped and wanted to get involved in the game. A few buddy’s with some beers were starting it all night. Also a blizzard tn so perhaps they were getting some steam out. Fuck em tho LFG Flames 🔥
