Pride night should remain in the stands. Give a flag to anyone who wants a flag to wave and mention something during one of the breaks. Stop using professional athletes as pawns in social justice causes. It takes away from the game.
How about focusing on those who are taking part and the night itself. If they’re so hell bent on making it about inclusion and feeling welcome, talk about that. All this does is create more divide. Who gives a shit about Gurianov.

I’m going to be honest. I don’t fucking care. Look, if it were me, I would wear the jersey. I support all people and their choices. It’s none of my business who someone loves and I like the idea of making hockey inclusive for all people. Gay/straight or squiggly idgaf but because I support all people and their choices it means I have to show that same respect for someone who isn’t comfortable aligning themselves with a cause. That’s just how I feel about it.
Stopped caring long ago. Not wearing a shirt for 20 minutes isn’t a sign of bigotry. Intolerance is a one way street now more than ever.
