Well Dave, your assessment was right on. It's strange how games really can be called based on what is known about various styles. But in the Edmonton/Lings game, the Kings did manage to bottle of a staggeringly strong offense. Only it's just not possible to stop a team with that much talent for an entire game. So Sean Durzi makes one errant/bad pass on the power play and Connor mcDavid is off to the races. And my biggest fear is seeing any one player on a break away against any of the Kings goaltenders. They're just not good enough. Quick was the one guy who had studied nearly every player and he had some sense for what moves they would make. But McDavid on any of our current goaltenders…geez, I only keep my eyes open because I love hockey, FIRST and my Kings, SECOND! Just one small thing…regarding McDavid's hit on Mikey Anderson, and this has come up before with other Hall a Fame level players. The league has to quit playing the money game. Protecting a guy when he does something wrong is not acceptable. And fans aren't stupid. Eventually, they will become frustrated and stop watching. Either the rules apply to everyone…or they apply to noone. Now Mikey Anderson was injured and he's out. What right does McDavid have to injure someone because he can? <lol> It feels like we should ask that question of Dan Rosen-one of the most one sided hockey hacks on the market today-of course, technically, both teams are in the Western Conference <hA!> And we all know where his loyalty lies…
