Sucks to lose to the pens but they were the better team today by some margin. However great loss for draft position. Also maybe team goal of the year.

  2. sharkbates1208

Well that was not fun to watch

  3. xenonwarrior666

So we’re 8th overall now right?

  4. Mendoza8914

Personally I’d rather we let a banged-up Husso rest up for next season than have him crucified on a nightly basis.

Does anybody have video of the weak make up call against Chiasson

  6. dudewithchronicpain

    Below average effort I’d say

  7. all i wanted for this season once we were cooked was to play spoiler and we get our ass handed to us. 7 straight years of nothing to look forward to in the spring.

  8. whitelightning91

I’ll be miffed about this loss only if the Isles pull out a win later.

Didn’t realize it was a day game because I knew I couldn’t watch it and didn’t bother. I feel glad to have missed this one.

Husso been on a 💩 streak to end the season, wonder where we say that before…

  11. Shotokanguy

They haven’t played like that in a while, but they’ve played like that a lot this year.

I cannot watch hockey like that next season. Barely managing 20 shots on goal and hoping your decent defense can hold off flat out better teams is not a recipe for success and it’s also boring as hell. I don’t want to be too mad about game #80 after we’re eliminated from the playoffs, but that was a total waste of time to watch.

“I’m not giving them a standing ovation” bro yes you are lmao

Nothing against the penguins, they did play a great game and we did not, but it’s especially annoying to watch when all the weak calls are going the other way and the commentating acts like it’s a movie about the other team

Hate losing to the Pens, but it’s the better result for our never-ending rebuild for multiple reasons. It would be great if the Islanders missed the playoffs and handed us a top 15 pick.

Of all the games of the series with them this season, this is the one we no-show.

    Welp.

  15. jaredsurreddit

Garbage broadcast, garbage refs, garbage game. Oh well

  16. fontinaliscoaster

Now let’s switch over to the tigers and watch a good team get a win today…..

  17. Keyster19

I was hoping we’d go 1-3 these last four games, but this was one I wanted to win.

im worried chairot’s a bad influence on ed

We all know the wings lack truly elite talent, shooters, and 3rd pair right D, and boy oh boy did this game expose it.

Every time we put some good plays together we couldn’t finish, and then the pens go down the other end and knocked the wind out of our sails.

Have to give some props to the pens coaching as they clearly knew how to counter the wings, including pressuring Chiasson whenever he was around the net on the PP to the point of getting a weak as hell penalty called on him due to the argy bargy.

Didn’t effectively end the Pens season 🙁

Bumped the Islanders out of a playoff spot 😃

  21. Cautious_Second_5408

Playoffs are a mile away. Maybe in 2026.

  22. ThadMasterBlaster-1

Wings were playing greatttt… and then Walman turned it over in the a lot with 3 seconds left in the 1st

  23. MariachiArchery

Puts us back at a shot at 1OA!
