I haven’t watched many games this season for various reasons, one of which being we’ve tended to do better when I don’t watch, but holy fuck that was a satisfying win.

Tkachuk and Lyon deserve all the buzz but don’t forget Ekblad playing much more like himself in this stretch
On game nights I lay awake at night and fantasize about Alex Lyon on my my hockey team. Dad has the game on downstairs and Goldstein’s soothing voice drifts up through the floorboards to serve as my lullaby.
I sit back on my haunches and let out a piercing howl and realize I’m dreaming a dream I’ve had before; running with a pack of wolves under a full moon, darting through the underbrush in pursuit of unknown prey.
The scent of another predator stings my snout and a silhouette steps into the clearing ahead; it’s the broad frame of Alex Lyon, lit by the moonlight’s soft glow dancing playfully across the corded muscles of his hairless chest. His musk grows stronger still and I struggle to breathe as waves of primal pheromones radiate from Flash’s every pore and batter me with unrelenting pressure.
He turns to us and grins, the blood from a freshly caught hare glistening on his chiseled jaw and running down his neck in long, wet, inky ropes. Steam pours off his skin in the winter cold, and his laboured breathing tells me of the lengths he’s gone to provide for the pack. ALEX throws the carcass at our feet and gestures to eat.
I always wake from the dream before it ends. But I don’t know how I’ll explain to my parents why this time, the sheets are covered in fresh blood.

Looking at the scoreboard it’s like the ~~Wings~~ and the ~~Flyers~~ didn’t even try. and you know the Panthers’ next two opponents (TOR, CAR) won’t just roll over despite their destinies already being locked in.
This man is a Panther for 8 years. Holy fuck.
Lindgren got one of the three stars. He was probably only in the conversation with his 33 saves, but that sweet pass with a minute left sealed the deal.
