Pens defense is terrible and Jarry is just trash 🗑️ he maybe had one or two games where he is good but for the most part he hasn’t been solid ever this whole season. Crosby isn’t playing very well. The top line isn’t really playing that well either so it doesn’t look good.
Ron Hextall will go down as the worst ever trade for 5 million dollars for Grandlund 🤦♂️!! This guy is pathetic!!! He isn’t even good enough for a 4th line spot on a good pens team!! He so slow won’t shoot the puck and when he does it’s doesn’t go in the net!
This title is clickbait. They don’t deserve the playoffs but it isn’t a massive blow. They still have it in front of them if they want it.

I don’t know what’s going on. They have goal scorers Crosby, Malkin, Guentzel, Zucker is scoring, Rakell is scoring. It has to have something to do with leadership. Whether it’s coaching, or the front office. The players just aren’t giving their all for some reason.
Feels like our GM always thinks the grass is greener with any new player they bring in. Just tosses our proven guys out.
I want them to miss at this point. I feel it’s the only way for the team to do what’s necessary and blow it all up. If there’s a silver lining, we get new goalies, defense and Hextall gets fired. Worth it.
The effort they showed last night is by far the most disappointing thing about it. I expected to lose against NJ, they are better. But, I didn’t expect them to no show in an important game with that leadership group.
If they can’t get up to play a game like this, I really question Crosby, Sullivan, Letang, and Malkin’s locker room presence
