  1. The Lightning will be trying extra hard because of how embarrassing it would be to lose to the Leafs

  2. Given the officiating of the Leafs lately, gotta say, TB has a distinct advantage here. That's a game changer. Bunting still has that target on his back…. exactly where he's been cross checked the past four games. Last night's 7-1 victory over the Habs just showed how biased the officials are. Bunting gets cross checked and the Habs wind up with a power play. Mental… totally mental.

  3. all these tampa injuries are just setting up an even funnier leafs first round loss

  4. Honestly. There are very few playoff experiences the leafs have had in the last 16 years that have been embarrassing. I don’t thing going to game 6 or 7 is embarrassing at all. However…..if Tampa have this many injuries and they are all off for the playoffs then that could be considered embarrassing.

  5. The title should be switched they are treating it like the leafs are the better team which they clearly arent regular season standings aside

  6. For whatever reason, Leaf’s have fat few powerplays per game than Tampa and Boston. Marchand gets away with licking people lol

  7. LEAFS IN SIX…..TAMPA ARE HURT AND GASSED. THEY WILL RESORT TO TAKING TOO MANY PENALTIES.

  8. I have an odd feeling Tampa isn't going to fair well against the leafs.

(I know we always say this come playoffs)

But Tampa has had a lot of injures, the team is getting older (average age) and they dont seem to be playoff ready.

    Just my 2 cents.

  9. I like the idea of signing Knies so the coaching staff can get a look at him and it allows some rest time for the other players, but I don't really get the hype that seems to be going around about him coming in and making a difference immediately. Extremely few number of players jump from college hockey and make an impact in the NHL, I'm sure it could be counted on one hand. Do I like his future as a Maple Leaf? Heck yeah. But let's just see how he does, I'm assuming he's going to need some development.
