  1. This makes me sad about what could’ve been. This is like looking into an alternate world where the whalers still exist.

  2. I think this was very insulting. How bout instead of having a “whalers night” just bring the team back

  3. I was never alive to see the Whalers play however I wish they still exited. I’m a huge canes fan tho so I guess it’s fine. But man do I love Whalers nights!

  4. I remember when I was much younger going to Buffalo Sabres games when the Whalers came to town, glad to see they honored the heritage of the team.

  5. I was at Expos throwback day at Nationals Park where the Nats wore the Expos Uniforms and they sold out of Montreal gear by the second inning.

  6. Never should have left Hartford I used to love ladies and gentlemen here are your Hartford whalers

  7. Hartford you're not getting NHL Franchise back this time Quebec is getting your back this time so yeah

  8. But the Wailers won't play in Hartford but the NHL franchise is not going to be played here every likes come back over Hartford we rooted Quebec I think everybody did because they want NHL Franchise back in Quebec so yeah Hartford your NHL Franchise don't exist no more that will be remembered as history

  9. Hartford have no history having robbery against the Montreal Canadiens is no other City in the NHL is Quebec

  10. It's good that they are remembering their history. The NJ Devils, on the other hand, do not acknowledge that they played in two other cities before they came to New Jersey.

  11. The only time I dont mind the hurricanes is when theyre wearing the jerseys from the Whalers.

  12. Whalers season ticket holder their last season in Hartford. Still feel the loss. I miss the fights against The hated Bruins, Rangers and Devils. Sometimes they’d duke it out in the stands. Yeah we sucked but we could sure fight and had solid Defense with Sean Burke in net with Glen Wesley and Adam Burt and who could forget Sanderson, Cassels and Shanahan. One line but enough to almost make playoffs 😉

  13. That crowd is so electric. It's nice to see how a fan base turned around and began to support their team again

  14. They should’ve kept the whalers name and uniforms and goal horn, and logo. Should stay in Carolina though, they literally played in a mall in Hartford

  15. “BETWEEN THE VISITING… Los Angeles Kings, AND YOUR, CAROLINA HURRICANES!!!” He whispered lol 😂

  16. Everything about the Whalers except where it was was amazing. So if they do come back Milwaukee is a good home. Not Hartford. (They played in a mall) But they would bring back the logo, name, and song. Different Goal Horn chosen by Milwaukee fans.

  17. I lived in New Hampshire in the early 80’s and remember the Whalers very well. This is great!

  18. I wish The Whalers Returned to the NHL. Im more of a Dallas Stars And New York Islanders fan Just a reminder
