We knew we only needed to try for five minutes to win this one. Perfectly executed.

  2. MustyLlamaFart

We are the greatest team in the world

  3. DaRealHankHill

We went from NyQuil to Nyquist in 5 minutes.

  4. Seraphax

Glad to see the comeback win, Jojo and Boldy are fucking 🔥!

Rossi is still invisible, I’ve lost all confidence after that turnover goal

Addison just needs to go, he’s a liability at this point

Faber looked great, excited to see how he adjusts to the NHL

  5. Nightcrawlers17

How did Rossi look tonight? Couldn’t watch the game.

  6. Durge88

Well that was a weird fucking game

    #BE. WHELMED.

In all reality I think Moose really did transfer all of his energy into the rest of the team for the last 10 minutes there.

    THANK YOU MINNESOTA. -Hawks fans

The question has finally been answered

“Can an AHL team with Marcus Johansson beat the worst team in the NHL?”

    “Yeah apparently”

  10. LadyRedBeard

Way to grind it out with our depth. MoJo is definitely making a huge case to come back next year!

  11. moviemaverick

How bout that beast carrying all the back up sticks at the end there lol

  12. expungant

I’ll never not like beating the blackhawks

  13. GhostInTheShadow

Always knew we had it in the bag. No doubt about it. Now if you’ll excuse me I’m gonna go delete some earlier comments.

Faber has such great defensive instincts. So excited to watch him in a Wild sweater for a long time.

  15. benenke

Faber looked great, hope he draws in tomorrow for the hometown story, plus he earned it.

Shame they couldn’t give Chicago the loser point to put them further away from Bedard.

  16. TheTree-43

We scored more goals than the other team

  17. Dahkeus

Once Foligno stole the magical helmet, victory was assured.

  18. JustaRoosterJunkie

If you were an Addison defender coming into this game, how are you feeling?

Overall, just a disjointed performance over one of the worst teams in the league. Take the win, but know that those callups don’t look ready to be impact players (excluding Faber), and while having them around may be necessary for the playoffs, they aren’t real solution at this moment.

  19. HerbalAndy

We can still get 1st in the central. And we ABSOLUTELY can still get 2nd for home advantage against Dallas. All you people who conceded 3rd.. you can fuck off

  20. PeytonistheManning

Gus was just a beast again tonight

  21. razzordragon

Faber has it. Rossi does not. Glad we got this little experiment out of the way so I can stop thinking « we should have brought Rossi up for the playoffs ». No, no we shouldn’t.

  22. m_nels

She was ugly but a dubs a dub.

    Takeaways from tonight:

Addison is as good as gone, kid just either doesn’t have it or refuses to work on the things that would make him an NHLer.

Petan is not an NHL player, he was probably the most invisible player on the ice.

Faber HOLY SHIT I’m impressed. Kid looks show ready, strong skater, good positioning and stick skills.

My hopes are slowly waning for Rossi. Like earlier in the year outside of maybe 3 shifts he was just “there”. Don’t think it’s fair to label him a bust but certainly not the dynamic player we need him to be yet.

BOJO is amazing!! That is all. See you all tomorrow in what should surely be a better game.

  23. thatboijash

About 66% of our skaters were absolute dog water, but Gus, Boldy, Jojo, Faber, and Goligoski were good enough to win it for us so Ig we’ll take it.

  24. Kurt4413

I had faith the whole damn game!

  25. mrwhytfnot

Faber topped the wild in TOI, Hartman got his A, Boldy got his MOJO back, and Nyquist has some good hands and his first geno. I like that after the suffrage of the 2nd.

  26. Braaapp-717

Anyone care to explain the Toews goal that was disallowed? I missed it and can’t find anything on the interwebs

  27. czar_the_bizarre

I really think it’s just a mental block for Rossi. The kid’s been through a lot and even though I, the fan, would like him to be an elite level center just as soon as possible, I am also aware that he’s human. Some players take a little longer to cook, and the jump in speed and talent from the AHL to the NHL is pretty big. I don’t doubt that he’ll be fine. He’s lucky to be able to be playing at all, and our fanbase should be a little more gracious towards him.

  28. largeblackcloud

    Johansson is not a rental

  29. dollabillkirill

Faber is gonna be good. He and Brodin together might never get scored on. Our top 4 are gonna be better next year and 5mil cheaper.

Rossi seems like he has Tyson Jost syndrome where he’s always just one step behind everything. Hopefully it was just a little jitters or something but if folks are hoping he’s gonna come in and be Ek immediately I think they need a reality check.

I kind of think they should try him at wing to give him some space to be offensive. That’s usually what teams do with a young center like him.

  30. -TheOriginalPancake

Everyone hating on Rossi I get it, he was stuck with petan and played 12 mins, Faber played 22. I still believe in but he does need some more time

  31. kagiles

I missed the Moose fight. Any particular reason why he threw down?

Addy. You make me sad. I had such high hopes for him in the beginning of the year and now … well
The Boldy line is fabulous. I was disappointed that the Dewy line wasn’t working tonight – there’s really no reason they shouldn’t be playing well together.

Could any of the callups fill in for an injury? Maybe. They’re a warm body, but I’d be concerned about getting in the way or causing problems making everyone else have to work harder.
