Okay id like to imagine prices will be fan friendly but heres my opinion. Knowing (pretty obviously) the NFL makes the most money, and the Giants play the cowboys at home god damn every season as division rivals, and those usually go for 200 at least for the worst seats, i confidently am saying it makes sense they overcharge the shit out of them. I can only imagine the horror on ticketmaster for a playoff matchup, the eagles playoff last year totaled 360 each. They’re gonna make potential devs rangers incredibly expensive and the best move is to honestly buy em a few hours before the game. Playoff presale for partial season tickets holders went today, once i saw the price i bought 2 verfied resale section 103 row 2 for cheaper at about 600$. after the sabres lost tonight chances of round 1 rangers are super high. glad i got em now, cuz I guarantee u they wont be under 200 til after the games start at home and my seats could go for whatever a seller pleases. if ur on extreme budget, round 2 will likely be cheaper. Rivalrys fuck prices and it’s new york city like we’re Jersey people we know how it works its a business they want profit. Best case scenario we play pitt round 2 or florida and I’m almost positive theyll have cheaper tickets

Also i was honestly disappointed in the prices but its the economy and the owners basically deciding. 30$ a ticket for the same seats reg season with a $270 increase in the playoffs is absolutely fucking insane, but still not surprised.

I will say, it’s nice to have a beat reporter who actually tries to provide insights into things the fans care about. A lot of the time it feels like the NHL has completely left the fans behind with how heavily monetized everything is now while also seemingly making decisions totally against what we want. Not to mention the deteriorating fan experience at the Rock.
For once a team was made to answer for a legitimate fan complaint and that at least makes me feel slightly better.
