I held out hope for Karlsson… especially after what he went through with his son's loss… but I ain't gon lie… I thought he was done after last season! Cale Makar… you'll have to put some work in for more Norris in turns out!!

You do realize his 2 goalies are statistically the worst in the league this season, right? Especially 5v5 the on ice situation where +/- is supposed to be telling.
Well Karlsson’s 5v5 GF% is above 50% meaning more goals go in for his team than against his team when he is on the ice, even with the worst goalies. He is basically the only player on his team with that. Is the goal of the game not to score more than your opponent? He does a pretty damn good job of that, best defense is a good offense yea?
He has 33 more pts than his next highest scorer, again, on a terrible team, and even so accomplished something that hasn’t been done in 30 years.
The offense he provided this season is historic and is just as much an aspect of being a good defenseman in the modern NHL as anything else. He can’t control the other 4 players on the ice. He sure as heck can’t control his god awful goalies. This season of his should be celebrated.
and still 20 pints shy of orr when he won the scoring title in a defensive league with less teams and less games. Makes you wonder what he would have done with more games? He makes Karlson look like a rookie.
I’m a Jets fan, but I gotta say wow Karlsson, that is a huge accomplishment for any d-man! 100 points after being doubted by fans across the league makes it much more special I imagine!

No one wants that guy. Sharks couldn’t move him at deadline. Worst defenseman in the league. His teams always lose. The billboards San Jose put up about this guy. Thought they were getting Bobby Orr. The billboards have been taken down!
