The sad thing about that, and the fact we’ve been winning meaningless games recently, is that if this was an Instagram post, we’d see a « Connor Bedard likes this ».
My only hope is that the lottery is rigged. NYR getting Lafrieniere, Toronto getting Matthews, Devils getting Hughes, etc. Pleass give us Bedard, Gary 😘🥰

Who here thinks the Canucks win first overall and pick someone other than Bedard. That would possibly be the most Canucks thing in the history of the Canucks.

We aren’t winning this lottery, we will drop 2 places, as is tradition.
Throughout all of this season, I never really considered a real possibility of us winning the draft lottery, because I figure the odds are just too low.
BUT, I just briefly had a moment where I imaged myself watching the draft lottery, the Canucks get 1st overall pick, and the absolute euphoria that overcomes me. It’s beautiful.
I have officially set myself up for disappointment.
Personally I don’t care for Canucks getting him. I just want a Canadian team to get him and not a team like the Ducks or the Coyotes. More Canadian teams need superstars like Matthews and McDavid
